Teekoy Grama Panchayat is currently divided into fourteen wards. These wards have been formed to ensure the efficient delivery of local administrative services to the people living in different parts of the panchayat.
The major wards are Arukonmala, Teekoy Town, Mangalagiri, Teekoy Estate, Ottayitti, Karikkad, Vellikulam, Malamel, Velathussery, Vagamatam, Cherimala, Pallivathil, Panchayat Junction, and Aniyilapp.
The elected representatives of these wards play an active role in the development activities of the panchayat, infrastructure development, welfare schemes, and public services. The hilly and midland terrain of the panchayat, along with the distinctive characteristics of its agricultural sector, gives each ward its own unique social and economic features.
