Citizen Charter 2026–27 – Teekoy Grama Panchayat
Introduction
The objective of Teekoy Grama Panchayat is to provide timely, transparent and efficient services to the public. This Citizen Charter provides information about the major services available from the Panchayat Office and the time limits for delivering such services.

- To ensure people-oriented and transparent governance.
- To promote basic infrastructure development.
- To effectively implement social justice and welfare programmes.
- To ensure sanitation, public health and environmental protection.

Rights of Citizens
Citizens have the right to:
- Receive services within the prescribed time limit.
- Obtain information regarding Panchayat services.
- Submit complaints and grievances.
- Receive services without discrimination.
- Receive transparent and accountable public services.
Responsibilities of Citizens
Citizens are expected to:
- Submit applications with correct and complete information.
- Pay taxes and applicable fees on time.
- Protect public property.
- Cooperate in sanitation and environmental protection activities.
- Participate in Panchayat development activities.

Complaints received will be examined and appropriate action will be taken within the prescribed time limit.
